About State RE PREP™
State RE PREP™ is an independent practice platform for real estate license exams, state by state — the National portion every state shares, and each state's own law that most national prep courses cover only briefly. We started in Texas and add states one at a time, each built from that state's official statutes and commission rules.
How state real estate exams work
In most states a candidate passes an exam administered by a testing vendor (often Pearson VUE) for the state real estate commission. It usually has two parts: a National portion on the principles every state shares, and a State portion on that state’s own law, rules and practice; both must be passed. A few states, such as Florida, test everything in one combined exam. Each state page here follows that state’s official exam outline.
What we do instead
Most pre-licensing courses are built around the National portion, since it's shared across states, and treat the State Portion as an afterthought. We cover both, in one pass — no juggling two different sites, and no separate SKU to choose between for State versus National.
